Amanda so graciously came over and helped me sort donations, strategically pack them and also went over my list while I packed my personal items. I cannot thank her enough!
I am taking 100 lbs. of donations alone (toothpaste, children's clothes, medical supplies, etc.) The rest of my group packed 100s of lbs. of vitamins over the weekend plus all of their donations. We will be bringing over 1,000 lbs. of donations with us. What an incredible feeling knowing how many less fortunate people are going to benefit from this! It also makes me feel so blessed that I am in need of nothing.
I was asked to make first aid kits to bring and also to teach a first aid class while I'm there.
I am even more excited now and can't wait for my adventure to begin! :-)
