Arrived, Safe and Sound!

I just arrived at the Ancient Angkor Hotel and it's about midnight on 3/24. Whew, 19 hours of flying is no joke but it was surprisingly not as horrible as I anticipated. I had a middle seat between my new friends Star and Jackie. We were all a little nervous for take off and held hands as we took off from SFO. Everyone in my group is super nice!

The first flight from SFO to Seoul, South Korea was about 13 hours. Korean Air treats you very good and served us two meals, snacks and drinks throughout. I slept a little but mostly just watched movies. I watched Silver Linings Playbook and 10 Years, both good!

We had a layover in Seoul and had only like 10 minutes to get to our gate. We were running from gate 4 to 34. But, we made it! The flight from Seoul to Siem Reap was about 6 hours.

When we arrived in Cambodia and stepped off the plane, the humidity nearly took my breath away. We got our Visas and got our luggage loaded up on the vans. Driving through Siem Reap was unbelievable. I cannot believe I am here! I cannot wait to explore.

We arrived at our hotel and we were greeted by Jenni the CEO of Friends of CCOD. My roommate and I are settling in and letting everyone at home that we're home safe. We better get to bed because we have to be down for breakfast at 8am.
